Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Los Angeles, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Pho Gyu Vietnamese Noodle House offers a calm and comforting dining experience that stands out in a busy neighborhood. The ambience is quiet and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy a meal without noise or distractions. The pho arrives steaming hot with fresh herbs, tender noodles, and a broth that feels both light and flavorful. The menu is simple but well‑executed, offering reliable Vietnamese staples that feel satisfying and familiar. Staff are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming environment from the moment you sit down. The restaurant’s layout is clean and organized, making it easy to settle in whether you’re dining alone or with a small group. The flavors are gentle enough for diners who prefer mild dishes, yet still rich enough to feel comforting. Parking is manageable, and the area feels safe and easy to navigate. The calm atmosphere makes it a great choice for families, especially those with younger children who prefer quieter dining spaces. The service is steady, and dishes arrive promptly without long waits. Overall, Pho Gyu is a dependable spot for a warm bowl of noodles and a peaceful dining experience. It’s the kind of place you return to when you want something

It’s newly opened, so the place felt clean and well kept. The food tasted good and the prices were reasonable—I’d come back to try other dishes. My friend ordered fried rice, which had a slightly unique twist, and I liked that you can help yourself to vegetables instead of waiting to ask for more. It did get pretty busy during peak hours, so it’s better to come early.

Quite surprised! 16 bucks for the wagyu version is the best price around and it comes with extra noodles for free! The topping are self serve and it includes green and regular onions, cilantro, jalapeños, limes, and sprouts! The taste is in between the Vietnamese and Lorean pho. I liked it. Will definitely return! But the parking sucks!

Modern Vietnamese restaurant that has a decent vegan pho. The veggie fried rice (has egg) is just ok. I wouldn't order it again though. The veggie egg rolls were quit nice and served with the traditional veggie assortment. A bit of a weird experience because we had to scan a QR code to get on the waiting list want wait outside for someone to come and let us in even though there was no one in front of us. I guess it's their process but it was COLD outside and clearly tables were open. Much better option than Pho 2000 up the street. 3 dishes came out to $44 with an 18% tip. The interaction with wait staff is very minimal. I do really appreciate that they offer 15% tip as an option still.

I feel like having a pho soup earlier. I checked out this place and parking area was so packed and cannot find a spot. But luckily someone left and I got to park my car. Went inside and it’s not that busy which I’m glad. I ordered to go and waited a bit. While I was waiting I decided to start taking some lime, mint leaves, beans sprouts for my soup and the server came up to me asking what did I order. I told him wagyu pho and chicken wings. In other words he doesn’t want to me take some of those limes 🍋🟩 etc because they have it included in my to go order. I told him it’s okay I just needed a little more. Not a friendly place and food was okay not as great as I was expecting. I still gave them 4 stars ⭐️ for consideration.
